Allegiant Begins Nonstop Service from Akron-Canton to Four Cities

ALLEGIANT BEGINS NONSTOP SERVICE FROM AKRON-CANTON TO FOUR CITIES WITH ONE-WAY FARES AS LOW AS $33*

Green, OH – Today marks the return of Allegiant Air service from Akron-Canton Airport (CAK) to four new cities. To celebrate, the company is offering one-way fares on the new routes as low as $33.*

“Demand for travel is high in Northeast Ohio and the Akron-Canton Airport is an ideal complement to our network and business model,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant’s senior vice president of revenue and planning. “We’re thrilled to offer our customers new, affordable options for planning their trips to the Sunshine State and the Peach State. We think area travelers will enjoy our nonstop flights – without the hassle of layovers or connections.”

New service from Akron-Canton Airport (CAK) includes:

  1. Punta Gorda, Florida via Punta Gorda Airport (PGD) – beginning March 2, 2022 with fares as low as $33.*
  2. Sarasota, Florida via Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (SRQ) – beginning March 3, 2022 with fares as low as $37.*
  3. Savannah, Georgia via Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (SAV) – beginning March 3, 2022 with fares as low as $44.*
  4. St. Petersburg, Florida via St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport (PIE) – beginning March 4, 2022 with fares as low as $33.*

“Beginning today, Allegiant Air offers nonstop flights to Northeast Ohio‘s favorite vacation destinations,” said Ren Camacho, Akron-Canton Airport President and CEO. “Our partnership is off to a terrific start, and we are excited about Allegiant’s future at CAK. Needless to say, we are thrilled to welcome them back to CAK.” 

The new flights will operate twice weekly. Flight days, times and the lowest fares can be found only at Allegiant.com.

*About the introductory one-way fares:

Seats and dates are limited and fares are not available on all flights. Flights for CAK-PGD must be purchased by March 4, 2022 for travel by May 22, 2022. Flights for CAK-SRQ and CAK-SAV must be purchased by March 5, 2022 for travel by June 8, 2022. Flights for CAK-PIE must be purchased by March 6 for travel by May 16, 2022.
