Port Green International Business Park
PORTGREENAERIAL 760 v3

CAK International Business Park at Port Green is a planned industrial and commercial development strategically located in the heart of northern Ohio in the city of Green and managed by SB Equities.  Port Green boasts nearly 400 acres of prime land adjacent to the Akron Canton Airport, one of the fastest-growing small-hub airports in the country. Lots range in size and will be consolidated or subdivided to meet end-users' needs. All utilities are available in Phases I and II. Phase III has sanitary sewer and water throughout and electric and gas on properties with frontage along Greensburg Road. Utilities can be extended to interior lots when the capacity needs of an end-user are known.

The park is positioned at a major highway with nearby cargo access by rail and within a couple of hours for barge shipments. Nestled between Akron and Canton, the communities surrounding Port Green are vibrant, welcoming, and supportive. Both Akron and Canton are rich in history, offering a reasonable cost of living and minimal traffic congestion. The city of Green is a young, thriving community with over 500 acres of parkland.

The park offers significant, ongoing cost savings to compete globally. The state of Ohio and Summit county continue to give attention and funding to improve the infrastructure and roadway systems as the area grows. All Port Green sites are within Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) #181, the City of Green's Community Reinvestment Area and Enterprise Zone Programs boundaries. Port Green is the definition of a prime location.

CAK's West General Aviation Area
west ga akron canton airport

West General Aviation Area Plan makes up approximately 80 acres of space readily available for expansion at the Akron Canton Aiport. New facilities in the West GA Area benefit from a clean slate approach to aeronautical land development, meaning there are many configuration possibilities, ultimately determined by operational needs and wants. The proposed parallel taxiway system will provide airside access to the West GA Area up to ADG-V aircraft, opening up possibilities to Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facilities, larger corporate flight departments, and air-cargo facilities to be developed in this area. Potential exists for a consolidated cargo handling facility able to support airline belly cargo and dedicated-cargo operations. A conceptual facility capable of accommodating a mix of propeller and jet aircraft up to a Boeing 737-800, with storage and cross-docking to tractor-trailers, only requires approximately two acres with convenient access to airfield and roadway networks.

Development of approximately 40 acres of additional space is possible within the ASR-11 Critical Area; however, additional FAA coordination and significant facility design considerations will be required to mitigate any potential adverse effects to the radar signal.

There are also approximately six acres, just off the end of Taxiway K, which could potentially accommodate a standalone hangar facility and an independent T-hangar complex and tie-down apron is envisioned south of Taxiway K. Landside access to that site would be developed from Global Gateway through the CAK International Business Park at Port Green.
