"A Better Way To Go" Award

Akron-Canton Airport employees and tenants serve our community and travelers with respect, integrity and accountability. While each individual works hard everyday to make CAK a better way to go, there are times when an employee goes above and beyond to help better the airport experience for guests, travelers or fellow coworkers. That's when they deserve additional recognition.

If you have someone you would like to nominate for the “a better way to go” award, please share your experience here! Nominations are accepted from employees, managers and the public.

Congratulations, Brenda!

Brenda Metz has been recognized as “a better way to go” award recipient.

We send Brenda into retirement as “a better way to go” award recipient!

Throughout the pandemic, Brenda went above and beyond in her department. She helped CAK achieve the ACI Airport Health Accreditation (AHA), while also working with Ren, Kevin and MAGNET to obtain the microSURE products we now use for sustained cleaning.

Brenda never backed away from extra duties to provide all airport users a clean and safe facility.

Congratulations, Brenda.
