TSA blog is ready for your opinions

It's been a long time coming, but now passengers may voice their opinions to the TSA in an open forum. If you go to http://www.tsa.gov/blog you'll be able to input all your thoughts on the good, and the bad of the check point process. It will be interesting to monitor this site as more travelers become aware of it. We certainly applaud the TSA for allowing all to voice their opinions. Please be aware as well that comment cards for TSA as well as CAK at our airport are posted on the wall as you exit the screening process. Your opinions matter, feel free to also pick up postage free comment cards at our information desk while traveling through CAK, we value your thoughts and ideas.

For those looking at travel this spring many of our carriers are now having fare sales to generate cash flow during the slower winter months. The best place to get those low fares is by going to the carrier's web sites or signing up for their e-mails. Many times they run them for only a few days so stay vigilant.

On one last note, skiing in Colorado is tremendous this year, with some resorts having the best snow pack in years. I spent four days in Snowmass in December and it was incredible. With all their snow it means spring skiing may last longer this year and there's still time to book that March, April trip. Nothing like a beautiful day in the Rockies, skiing in the sun, it's the best!
