2010 is shaping up to be a pretty darn good year. As we move into the second quarter, passenger traffic at CAK is up nearly 6 percent compared to last year. That's pretty exciting; since 2009 wasn't too shabby either (it was our second busiest year in history).
Why is CAK growing? Well, our airline partners-AirTran Airways, Delta Airlines, US Airways Express and Frontier Airlines- are adding new flights this spring and summer.
Here is the run down:
AirTran Airways: 3rd daily flight to New York LaGuardia and a 2nd flight on Wednesday to Orlando.
Delta Airlines: 1-2 additional daily trips to Detroit
US Airways: Bigger planes to Charlotte
Frontier Airlines: Bigger plane to Denver. And when I say big, I mean big. Frontier is adding an A320 CAK-DEN, the largest airplane ever scheduled on a daily flight from here. The aircraft has a big Orca whale on its tail. I love it!!!
There are lots of great flights and fares from CAK. Check them all out here. Happy travels!
