The Akron-Canton Airport (CAK) is delighting Customers this Friday, July 21 with a live acoustic concert featuring Dan Monea, of Canton’s very own"Hey Monea!"

Friday’s show is the first in a series as we take the 330 Roadshow, a program from 91.3 FM The Summit, off the road and into the air. Each concert showcases a local Northeast Ohio musician, hand-selected by the Akron/Canton-based radio station, and allows them the opportunity to perform in front of a new audience, in a unique setting.

“The 330 Roadshow and in-terminal concerts are the products of a natural partnership between CAK and The Summit,” said Rick McQueen, President and CEO of the Akron-Canton Airport. “We are always looking for special ways to engage and excite our Customers, and this happens to be an exceptional way to do both.”

Travelers can enjoy this concert, along with others on August 2 featuring Rachel Brown from Rachel Brown & The Beatnik Playboys, September 22 featuring Marc Lee Shannon from the Michael Stanley Band and November 10 featuring The Vindys. the concerts will occur near the Visitor Information Center by door three from 4:30-6:00 p.m.

“When it comes to local music, Northeast Ohio is full of great talent,” said Ryan Humbert, Marketing and Events Manager at The Summit. “We’re pleased to partner with the Akron-Canton Airport to bring outstanding live music to an outstanding airport with The 330 Roadshow.”
