American Airlines Will Launch Nonstop Service Between Akron-Canton Airport and Chicago O’Hare
Green, OH: Hold on tight because more nonstop service to the windy city is ready for takeoff aboard American Airlines! The carrier will begin new, twice daily nonstop service to Chicago O’Hare (ORD) on October 6, 2016. The new flights will be aboard a 50-seat Embraer ERJ-145. Akron-Canton to Chicago O’Hare flights are for sale immediately at aa.com, your travel agent, and most online booking sites.

“We are delighted that American is growing again at Akron-Canton Airport,” said president and CEO Rick McQueen. “Chicago is a top destination and an international gateway, giving CAK travelers even more options for business and vacation travel. We expect the flights to be very popular.”
Additionally, American Airlines will increase frequency to New York (LGA) with a second daily departure from Akron-Canton beginning October 6, 2016. Including the new flights, American will offer thirteen daily departures to five nonstop destinations from CAK. American also flies nonstop to Washington D.C. (DCA), Philadelphia, and Charlotte. United Airlines also offers five daily nonstop flights to Chicago O’Hare.
