Breeze Airways Inaugurates New Service from Akron-Canton Airport to Palm Beach International Airport

PBI Event Signs Center 01

Breeze Airways, the Seriously Nice™ new U.S. low-fare airline, is adding new nonstop service today from Akron-Canton Airport (CAK) to Palm Beach International Airport (PBI), the airline’s 18th destination nationally.  The new route is a Saturday-only, roundtrip for now.

“Breeze’s business model is to add ‘nice, new nonstop’ flights on routes where only connecting service is offered by other carriers,” said David Neeleman, Breeze’s Chairman and CEO.   “We’re excited to introduce more service from Akron-Canton and add further destinations as demand builds.”

Palm Beach is CAK's fourth destination aboard Breeze, joining Charleston, SC (CHS); Tampa, FL (TPA); and New Orleans, LA (MSY).

"Our community's support and use of existing service has allowed Breeze to grow, not only in the aircraft serving CAK, but also the number of destinations, as demonstrated by today's launch of Palm Beach," said Ren Camacho, Akron-Canton Airport's President and CEO. "What's more is that we are offering nonstop service to a truly unique destination for Northeast Ohio. We are delighted to see growth so quickly aboard Breeze and foresee more opportunities ahead."

Tickets from CAK can be purchased at flybreeze.com or on the Breeze Airways app.
