CAK Routes light v2

AKRON, OHIO. Oct. 26, 2021 — Allegiant (NASDAQ: ALGT) today announces its return to Akron-Canton Airport (CAK) with four new nonstop routes, offering locals affordable fares to popular vacation destinations in the Southeastern U.S. just in time for spring. To celebrate, Allegiant is offering one-way fares on the new routes as low as $59.*

“A hallmark of Allegiant’s business model is flexibility, which allows us to respond quickly and nimbly when demand for service shifts,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant’s senior vice president of revenue and network planning. “Our northeast Ohio customers said they wanted Allegiant at Akron-Canton Airport, and we listened. We’re adding four new routes that will provide area travelers with more options to visit some of our most popular spring destinations in Florida and Georgia. As an easy-to-access, centrally located airport, CAK is a great match for Allegiant’s unique brand of convenient, nonstop service at some of the industry’s lowest fares. We’re excited about resuming service there.”

More than ever, travelers appreciate the convenience Allegiant provides by offering nonstop flights that get them directly to their destination, without the hassle of layovers or connections, Wells said. They also like the convenient access through smaller airports Allegiant serves in communities that have traditionally lacked commercial air service.

“CAK is proud to be part of Allegiant Air’s continued commitment to Northeast Ohio,” said Ren Camacho, Akron-Canton Airport President and CEO. “Travelers will be delighted by Allegiant’s low fares coupled with our convenient airport experience. We are absolutely thrilled to partner with Allegiant to offer affordable, nonstop service to these four, unique destinations."
