We’re about 60 days away from having the terminal finished which will complete our STAR Expansion program that was announced in June of 2001. I can’t believe how fast the time has gone and how difficult 5 years of construction have been!

Our task now is to roll out the next 5 year program and we plan to do this in the fall. I’m not at liberty to talk about our next 5 year program at this point, but it will be far different and much farther reaching than STAR. It will consist of more than just infrastructure and will build upon all the foundations we have put into place.

Despite record fuel prices and airline bankruptcies we see a very bright future for CAK. We must also maintain the ability to cut through a hazy economic landscape just like we did in 2001 after the 9/11 attacks. We never took our eye off the ball because the US Domestic Airline Industry is very resourceful and together we put ourselves in position to win. Once again we need to plan and execute bold steps so we don’t just accept what the future hands us, but we shape it.With the passion of the CAK team we will create the future. We will create what today does not yet exist.
