Weekends Ahead!

So you haven’t planned any adventures this weekend, and Labor Day weekend is fast approaching, need ideas? We are blessed in our area with so many wonderful adventures that we sometimes forget about. We have the Cuyahoga Scenic Railroad just up the street, as well as the Cuyahoga National Park which is a great place to visit this time of year. Then there is Holmes County, Amish Country which would be good to visit before the fall leaves turnthe place into a zoo.

Speaking of Zoos, The Akron Zoo should be beautiful now with all their landscaping flowering its last hurrah. And of course my favorite, The Ohio and Erie Canal Trail, try bicycling the portion south of Historic Navarre to beautiful Zoar, I think it’s actually the prettiest section of the entire trail.

If none of these peak you interest, there’s still time to find a great deal on one of our carriers to the national park of your choice. The Rockies are just right this time of year, beautiful in the day, and perfect for a evening hot tub at night.  The Pacific Northwest also is remarkable now and I believe the salmon run is just getting started.

Hope I’ve given you a thought or two for the weekends ahead.  Before you know it old man winter will be blowing its breath. Enjoy the fruits of your labor!
