Spring Break Travelers love CAK

Posted on 03/21/2008

I just love Spring Break. My kids are off school and happily hanging out in PJs until noon. There is space for breathing, resting and enjoying each other it seems.

On the other end of the spectrum, the airport is teeming with excited travelers. They are beginning various journeys to see family, hang out on the beach, or maybe go skiing for one last time this season. The energy is palpable. What I know is that folks still really enjoy getting out of Dodge for awhile. That’s one of the things I love about this job; I get to witness memories in the making (hopefully good ones). Adventures begin at CAK and it is really cool.

FYI, CAK flights are very full this weekend, so if you are traveling spend a little time preparing for the first part of your journey- the airport. Print boarding passes at home, pack lightly (some carriers now charge a $25-50 fee for a second bag), be sure not to carry-on large containers of gels or liquids (3 oz. is the TSA limit), bring a good book and get ready to relax and enjoy your trip.
