Information that was obtained included entries to contests on the airport's website. This included names, emails, cities and phone numbers. No email address passwords or credit card information was on the airport's website.

Green, OH: Low fares lured a record number of spring break travelers to Akron-Canton Airport (CAK) last month, making March the busiest in CAK history. A total of 158,984 passengers traveled to and from the airport, an increase of 8.4 percent compared to March 2012 (previous record). Green, OH: 2012 was an amazing year for the little airport that could! Records were busted at every level. Not only was it the busiest year in our history, 2012 marked our third consecutive record-breaking year. We also welcomed Southwest Airlines to the CAK family of airlines. Green, OH: Boy, do we have a lot to celebrate this holiday season! Akron-Canton Airport (CAK) busted through yet another monthly passenger record, making November 2012 the 20th consecutive record-breaking month. A total of 159,409 Customers flew to/from the airport during the month, an 11 percent increase over last year.
And better yet, November’s number puts CAK’s yearly Customer total at 1,688,380, exceeding our all-time yearly tally (1,664,397) set in 2011. Annual records have been achieved 12 out of the last 15 years.
