Green, OH: Beginning today, Akron-Canton Airport (CAK) will open a new 750 space Economy parking lot at the corner of Lauby and Mt. Pleasant Roads. It will be the airport’s most affordable parking option at just $6 a day. Door-to-door, complimentary shuttle service (a 5 minute ride) will be provided to/from the new Economy lot.

Green, OH: Akron-Canton Airport (CAK) marked the busiest April in airport history with passenger traffic surging 9 percent compared to 2011. For the month, 146,215 passengers flew in/out of CAK. That figure surpasses our previous best April (2011) by 12,241 passengers. It also marks the 13th record-breaking month in a row for CAK. Green, OH: February 2012 may have been a short month but it was huge for Akron-Canton Airport (CAK). Marking the busiest February in history, passenger traffic surged with a 23 percent increase compared to 2011. For the month, 128,300 passengers flew in/out of CAK. That figure surpasses our last best February (2006) by 20,975 passengers. It also marks the 11th record-breaking month in a row for CAK.
