Green, OH: Give thanks? You bet! We are thankful for our 19th consecutive record breaking month at Akron-Canton Airport (CAK). October passenger traffic surged eight percent ahead of October 2011; beating our previous busiest October by 11,566 passengers. Green, OH: Passenger traffic continues to soar at Akron-Canton Airport (CAK). With the addition of Southwest Airlines, the airport marked its busiest August in history with passenger traffic surging 10 percent compared to August 2011. For the month, 169,079 passengers flew in/out of CAK. That figure surpasses our previous best August (2011) by 15,103 and also marks the 17th consecutive monthly record. Green, OH: It’s a three-peat! For the third consecutive month, Akron-Canton Airport (CAK) is celebrating its busiest month ever. Marking a 65-year monthly passenger record, 172,571 Customers travelled to/from CAK in July, beating out both May and June.
