It is such an honor and privilege to take over as President and CEO of the Akron-Canton Airport. Although I have a new office, I am no stranger to CAK. For the past 26 years, I've learned what it takes to be a strong, generous, thoughtful and prudent leader from my mentor, Fred Krum. His spirit and enthusiasm for "all things airport" will be with me as I continue on this journey.

News headlines aren’t painting a pretty picture when it comes to the airline industry. Fuel prices continue to climb, airline mergers are all the rage, and customers are feeling frustrated by more fees and less service. If oil reaches $200/ barrel as some folks predict, it is going to shake the industry even more. The shakeout will come in the form of higher prices (everywhere…not just for air tickets) and reduced options.
So, how are things at CAK? In short, we are still in the game....

Great news from Akron-Canton Airport!
US Airways is offering more daily flights to Charlotte and Philadelphia every day from CAK. What does this mean to you? Travelers will have more flight options when flying to either of these destinations and beyond! An extra flight each to Charlotte and Philadelphia start May 5. A fifth flight will be added from CAK to Charlotte July 3.
