More than 135,100 passengers traveled in and out of Akron-Canton Airport in May, making it the facility's busiest May ever.That's up 11 percent compared to 2009 and almost 8 percent more than the previous best May, in 2006. Despite a global recession Akron-Canton Airport had its second-busiest year ever in 2009.
More than 1.44 million customers traveled through the airport, which was 1.7 percent less than in 2008, the airport’s best year.
