Green, OH: Beginning today, Akron-Canton Airport (CAK) will open a new 750 space Economy parking lot at the corner of Lauby and Mt. Pleasant Roads. It will be the airport’s most affordable parking option at just $6 a day. Door-to-door, complimentary shuttle service (a 5 minute ride) will be provided to/from the new Economy lot.

“We are delighted to offer another convenient and inexpensive parking option at CAK,” said Rick McQueen, president and CEO. “This lot is perfect for travelers who are looking for an economical long-term parking option. We are always looking for ways to make the Customer experience even better at CAK. This new lot will be popular with those who appreciate our low fares and exceptional service.”

The new economy lot compliments the airport’s Short-term, Long-term A and Long-term B lots which are all located on the main airport campus. Yellow shuttles will continue to operate from the long-term lots. Customers parking in the new economy lot will ride aboard new green CAK shuttles. A map of all CAK’s parking lots and rates are located on the airport’s website. CAK Customers can plan where to park using our parking lot capacity tool and can estimate the cost of parking before arriving at the airport by using our parking cost calculator.
