New opportunities - it is what spring is all about at CAK. As you'll see below there are wonderful opportunities for travelers and our community alike. For travelers, AirTran Airways has added three additional weekly trips (for eleven total trips) to Orlando, just in time for peak summer travel. Plus, Frontier Airlines will be flying the largest jet in their fleet to CAK this summer, the Airbus 320 with 162 seats. That's the largest airplane ever scheduled here and we couldn't be more thrilled. Additionally, US Airways and Delta are adding more flights to their most popular hubs.
For the community, we are working with the City of Green to bring more high paying jobs to our region. Our Port Green Industrial Park ranked number one in Summit County for Ohio Jobs Ready Site funding, which means we are closer to securing State infrastructure funding to help us and the City improve the land, grow jobs and income. We will fight hard in Columbus to bring this vital funding to our community.
