The Christmas holiday is right around the corner and we are on final approach wrapping up 2009. I am delighted to report to you that even though the economy was a mess this past year, your airport is going to finish the year strong. Despite the bad economic indicators, our passenger traffic is off just slightly this year, making 2009 one of our top three years ever.
Plus, we've added two new routes- US Airways to Washington D.C. and AirTran Airways to Ft. Lauderdale- and are excited about new Milwaukee flights- aboard Sky West and in partnership with AirTran- that start in January!
In addition to the new flights, please join me for a new online chat that begins today, December 16, 2009. I'll continue the monthly chat throughout 2010, from 1-2 p.m. on the third Wednesday of every month. Ask what you'd like and I'll do my best to answer.
