It is such an honor and privilege to take over as President and CEO of the Akron-Canton Airport. Although I have a new office, I am no stranger to CAK. For the past 26 years, I've learned what it takes to be a strong, generous, thoughtful and prudent leader from my mentor, Fred Krum. His spirit and enthusiasm for "all things airport" will be with me as I continue on this journey.
My goals for the airport are simple. Keep providing vital air transportation services in the region, at a price that customers and airline partners can afford. That will require focusing on the fundamentals of running a great airport, preparing for a vibrant future and having fun on the journey.
I can't tell you how much I appreciate the support and encouragement I've received since being promoted. Thanks for your confidence. I will work hard to assure our continued success. I promise we will keep Akron-Canton Airport a better way to go.
