News headlines aren’t painting a pretty picture when it comes to the airline industry. Fuel prices continue to climb, airline mergers are all the rage, and customers are feeling frustrated by more fees and less service. If oil reaches $200/ barrel as some folks predict, it is going to shake the industry even more. The shakeout will come in the form of higher prices (everywhere…not just for air tickets) and reduced options.
So, how are things at CAK? In short, we are still in the game. Passenger traffic for the first few months of the year is up. We have added another daily flight option to Philadelphia and a third daily flight to Denver through Frontier Airlines begins June 30. We also continue to move forward with our CAK 2018, 10-year, $110 Million Capital Improvement Plan.
Rest assured that we are committed to making the customer experience at CAK as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. So, the next time you fly CAK, checkout our free Wi-Fi, complimentary shuttle service from our long-term/economy parking lots, free waiting lot for arriving passengers and ourrelaxation station on our Web site.
