It’s getting cooler outside but things are warming up at CAK. This is the time of year we welcome back seasonal service to Ft. Myers aboard AirTran Airways. This service is so popular that AirTran brought it back a month earlier this year than last. Of course our other Florida nonstops are popular too. Check out nonstop flights to Tampa and Orlando, if Ft. Myers isn’t your style.
It is also the time we start preparing for winter operations to keep airplanes efficiently moving in and out of the airport. We have five snow plows, six brooms, two blowers, 400 tons of salt, 10,000 gallons of liquid deicer, and fourteen team members ready to fight back anything winter sends our way.
Of course, our passengers won’t hardly notice what we do on the airfield to keep things moving; and that’s on purpose.
We want you to relax, enjoy free wi-fi, complimentary shuttle rides to the terminal and a warm cup of hot chocolate when you arrive. After all, with all of these great flights to the places you want to go this winter why fly from anywhere else? It’ll be our pleasure to have you.
