Frontier Airlines Moves to New Concourse at Akron-Canton Airport

FRONTIER AIRLINES MOVES TO NEW CONCOURSE AT AKRON-CANTON AIRPORT

 

            Green, OH:  Frontier Airlines' has a new home at Akron-Canton Airport. Beginning today, the carrier's new permanent home is gate #11 in the new south concourse. With the move, all scheduled big jet flights from CAK will depart from the new, spacious second-level gates.

"We chose to make Akron-Canton our home in the Northeast Ohio region because it was simply the most convenient, cost-effective and customer service oriented option for us," said Chris McLaughlin, Director of Station Operations for Frontier Airlines.  "Today's move into the new terminal at Akron-Canton Airport gives our passengers one more reason to continue to use this airport and to continue to fly Frontier to Denver and the West.  We greatly appreciate the Airport's efforts to make their facility world-class and we look forward to many more years of serving our passengers from Akron-Canton."

To celebrate the move, Frontier Airlines customers will enjoy complimentary breakfast treats in the morning and cookies in the afternoon. In addition to the extra space and breathtaking views, the new concourse features free Wi-Fi internet access, multiple power sources, and spacious and clean restrooms. New food service options including an Arby's® and Great Lakes Brewing Company® will open in mid-September.
