New February Passenger Record & Saturday Night Liv

Posted on 03/15/2006

Passenger traffic was up 8% this February over last February. Another record for the Airport! While this is all wonderful for us, the airlines continue to face high oil prices, which puts profitability pressure on all their routes including ours. At the Network Conference in San Antonio last week, we were hearing the moans from most small and medium size airports regarding the loss of airline routes due to high oil prices. We don’t plan to lose a single thing but we need your help to do it. So if your thinking of an upcoming trip – New York or Boston are on sale by AirTran for as low as $49 each way depending on days of travel. You just can’t beat these fares!

Did anyone see Saturday Night Live (SNL) this past weekend? I didn’t but there was a skit about college girls going on spring break and the airport they were flying out of was prominently displayed as the Akron-Canton Airport. Did anyone see this?
