More 737’s at CAK!

Sitting on the ramp at 10:00 a.m. this morning is a new AirTran Airways 737 loading up to go to Atlanta. You’re seeing more 737’s from AirTran at CAK along with the great 717’s that they already fly. AirTran has the newest Boeing fleet of 717’s and 737’s in America. It’s all they fly out of CAK. This gives credence to our latest ad campaign, which features “Oscar the Dummy” flying out of the “big” airport on a “small” jet. Actually if you fly from the BIG Airport on Continental you have an 80 percent chance of flying on a “small” jet. If you fly AirTran from CAK you have a 100 percent chance of being on a big jet!

I like the odds better at CAK!

While Air Tran added the Ft. Lauderdale flights, last fall they reduced service to New York LGA from 3 to 2 roundtrips. In January, they cut a Boston roundtrip, including the morning CAK-BOS flight whuch makes same day service not possible. Will the flight be reinstated in teh spring.

Sincerely

Fred you're the man. Keep up the great work. CAK puts other airports it's size to shame, and even some larger than it.

What's wrong with flying a small jet?
A jet is a jet, in fact the smaller ones are easier to board and deplane since they have fewer people, every seat is either an asile or window (no middles), and a lot of the smaller jets are showing up with first class sections now?

What percentage of the flights departing CAK are non big jets?

Wow that is great news for CAK! It will complement the new terminal concourse nicely this summer! Keep it up and Keep bringing in fun destinations!
