Hilton Head Island Rocks!
My family and I just spent a glorious week on Hilton Head Island. We rented a condo in Palmetto Dunes that was close to the beach, pool and tennis center. My sister and her kids went too, so this was a real family affair.
Thankfully, the weather was wonderful while were there. It was in the 80s and sunny most days, allowing us to bike to my sister’s place, boogie board in the surf and get in a couple of great tennis games. Kelly and I also took a cardio-tennis class that was a blast. Our teacher’s name was Tapi. He’s from Finland so his music mix was a great combination of Euro-rock and 1980s Americana. It was great fun (but I’m glad there are no pictures)!
It was great to recharge my batteries, though it was a bit of a drag to come back to snow covered tulip buds. I highly recommend a vacation on Hilton Head Island. You can easily fly there aboard AirTran Airways, US Airways or Delta Airlines. Fly into Savannah/ Hilton Head International Airport for the best flight options though. Happy travels!

Great review of HHI, and quite accurate.
You can also fly in, however, to the HHI airport,
which is more convenient to the island itself,
and saves time in traffic from Savannah to HHI
which can result in an hour\'s drive, though it
isn\'t that far. Delta and a few others service the A/P.
I\'d like to invite you to stop in to see me at
the Claire Murray store where we sell hand-hooked
rugs at extremely reasonable prices - because we can!
Treat yourself to a delightful experience &
take home a rug as a memory of your visit to HHI.
