Fly AirTran to Florida this winter
I am so jazzed!! AirTran announced yesterday that they’re commencing nonstop daily service to Ft. Lauderdale beginning January 4, 2007. The Ft. Lauderdale Convention and Visitors Bureau's website is www.sunny.org. How perfect is that? Nothing like "sunny" during the gray winter days in Northeast Ohio. You could easliy fit in a quick weekend getaway; leave here at 8:40 a.m. and be on the beach by noon. (Note to self, book tickets to Fort Lauderdale). Oh yes, in case you haven’t heard, on December 21, 2006, AirTran is bringing back its very popular seasonal nonstop service to Ft. Myers too!
If you add the two “Forts” to the current daily trips to Orlando and Tampa, folks will have four nonstop options to Florida from CAK this winter. Never in our history have we had this level of service to the Sunshine State. There is only one airline (which shall not be named) in Northeast Ohio that offers even comparable service. So I am pumped!
Book your trips now because AirTran’s autumn fare sale ends tomorrow. While you are at it, don’t forget about AirTran Airways’ other nonstop service to Atlanta, Boston, and New York. Gosh, are we lucky or what? Big, comfy jets going to seven nonstop destinations… all at low fares; I need to pinch myself!
