Enjoy the Prices!
If the time has ever come to jump on an airplane and travel, it’s now! Airplane ticket prices, on average, are approximately 20 percent lower than they were in 2000. If you compare airfares to surface transportation, you might find that it’s cheaper to fly than it is to drive, take a train or bus.
Currently airlines are taking a very close look at reducing domestic schedules across the board as they tighten their belts because of the high cost of fuel. Fuel costs to carriers have doubled since 2000 with the average cost now being $2.00 per gallon. This current window of opportunity for affordable fares may disappear in the future, so now would be a great time to entertain booking a flight, and locking in to these great prices. Once the current excess capacity dries up prices will surely begin to rise, so come see us at CAK and leave the flying to our great carriers.
One other thought for those dreaming of Europe in the future, many aviation experts feel that there will be a large surplus of seats to Europe this summer as carriers fight to gain market share internationally. The environment might be perfect for that trip to Europe, do it now and save money!

Is there long term -- one week parking at Akron/Canton airport? What is the cost per day for a 7 day parking at the airport?

With the gas prices as high as they have been over the past year, it is certainly a move economical option to fly in many cases. It doesnt seem like fuel costs are going down any time in the near future and sometimes my wife and I just need a weekend getaway. thank you Akron/Canton airport for helping to bring options like this to our area.
