Cheap Flights to Vegas
Posted on 04/24/2007
I am so excited! AirTran Airways will start nonstop service to Las Vegas on August 15 from CAK. And how about $99 each way?? Now that’s a price just about anyone can afford. Read the press release for details.
I just love Las Vegas. I’ve got great memories of the place. My brother got married in an Elvis Chapel in Las Vegas a few years back. Of course, I had to be there as the impersonator crooned “Can’t Help Falling in Love with you”, a classic Elvis tune. And, my best girlfriends from high school and I spent a long weekend in sin city. Now that was a fun trip! Between the four of us, we brought 32 pairs of shoes! I also sprung for a trip with my husband when he turned 30. We went to the Hoover dam and flew in a small plane over the Grand Canyon (which was amazing). Every time I go to the place, I find something new to do. There is really no place like it on earth.
So, needless to say, I highly recommend you take advantage of these low fares while they last. AirTran will fly big comfy Boeing 737s to Vegas with XM radio at every seat. Oh yes, be sure to upgrade at the gate to one of the big business class seats, if you want to ride in style that is.
I’d love to hear about your Vegas adventures too! Viva Las Vegas!

Happy New Years to my neighbors out at Akron/Canton. Continue the tremendous work you do at your airport. Most airports are jealous of how well you have grown in just a 10 year span, and will continue growing in the future. I have flown it 10+ times in the last couple years, and will continue using it.
Right now my coalition of Airport Supporters are trying to help out the struggling Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport. They have done a successful job with flights to Orlando aboard Allegiant Air (ALGT-Nasdaq), but they have not done much since then.
YNG needs to look at how well CAK has done over the years and perhaps take some tips from you guys. You run a very successful operation and should be commended for IT! You earn my award for the best airport in Ohio and the best operation of any government funded operation in the region.
GOOD LUCK IN 2007!
