CAK Rocks Boston!
Today is the final day of the NBTA National Convention and Trade Show in Boston. We have exhibited at this show for the past five years. It is a great opportunity for us to explain that there are two great airports in the Cleveland area, if they happen to have folks coming our way. Because most of the attendees are from outside Ohio, many don't know that we are a convenient, relaxing alternative to Cleveland Hopkins Airport. We offer the lowest average fare in Ohio too. They like that. Plus, our rental cars are right on site and less expensive than other airports in the region. To add a little excitment to our exhibit this year we invented the Better Way to Go Football Challenge. It's been a gas! Each travel manager gets three chances to throw a small football through our logo target if you will, and if they make it, they win 5 bucks. The contest gives us a little time to get to know these fabulous folks.
I must mention how fantastic the Boston Convention Center is. It is absolutely wicked cool. It's right on the waterfront (cue the music Cleveland), has lots of windows, and great food service and AV capabilities. The conference organizers couldn't have selected a better venue for this event. Besides the convention center, Boston is the perfect walking city with lots of open air pubs and eateries, rich historical sites, super friendly people and great shopping. I like it so much here that I want to come back to Boston; to drink in the cool, relaxed urban lifestye and hang out with some of the brightest and nicest folks on the planet. If you'd like to get away to Boston, you can get here like I did...nonstop aboard AirTran Airways from CAK. My fare was $160 round trip. You just can't beat that. Rumor has it that AirTran is having a systemwide a fare sale right now too, so you could score one of these super low fares.
Before I sign off, I'd like to suggest that the Cleveland Plus leadership have a look at this Convention Center. They just might get an idea or two.
