Ok, can I just say it? Life is good! Our biggest carrier at CAK, AirTran Airways is growing again. This time, it's to Ft. Lauderdale (available now) and Milwaukee (commencing 1/5/10).
The appeal of Ft. Lauderdale is pretty obvious- sandy beaches, access to all of south Florida (Miami, Palm Beach, Key West), cool night life and warm temperatures. Well to start this wild week off, we hosted Networking in the Middle with Cleveland+ on Wednesday night. 330 young professionals noshed on foods unique to our nonstop flight destinations- Atlanta, Florida, Boston, New York and Denver to name a few. deSol rocked the airport…um literally and figuratively…entertaining the crowd. My favorite part of the event though was the TKG Social lounge. Party-goers live tweeted, posted to our Facebook fan page and played Wii games all night long. It was...

I can hardly believe that it has been eight years since the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon; arguably the worst calamity ever wrought upon thousands of innocent Americans.
I remember the American Airlines' pilots sitting in Fred's office, the hundreds of stranded travelers in our conference rooms, and the sad yet steadfast media trying to report on the tragedy.
I also fondly remember the outpouring of support from friends and neighbors who offered help to stranded passengers here at
