Big Week Ahead At CAK !

For those of you who might have forgotten, next week is the Pro Football Hall of Fame Festival Week.  Besides being a busy passenger week here at CAK, the dates this year also happen to coincide with the World Series of Golf at Firestone Country Club.  Hotels are booked as far away as Cleveland and as far south as Cambridge.

With the large influx of people coming to our area for these wonderful events, please keep in mind to give yourself a few extra minutes for driving time and check-ins at the airport.  Also be mindful when picking up people at the airport that our curb will be more congested than usual because of the addition of ground transportation cars used for these events.  Please use our free waiting area until your family or friends are on the curb with bags in hand.

We have word that our deputies will be working to keep our roadway in front of the terminal free from congestion which means that they will be enforcing the waiting ban on our fire lanes and curbs.  Drop offs and pick-ups are okay, but please no waiting out front.  You may also park in our short-term lot across from our terminal for free the first 15 minutes or at a cost of $1.00 for 15 minutes to 30 minutes or $2.00 from 30 to 60 minutes.

We want you to have a pleasant experience while at our airport.  So please be mindful of parking signage.  Also, feel free to call our Information Help Desk at 330-499-4221 for arrival information.  Another great source for flight information is www.flightview.com, if you have web service.

Enjoy the pride we all have of these great events showcasing Northeast Ohio!
