Back to CAK
I am sitting in the United Airlines F concourse at O'Hare International Airport in Chicago waiting to board my flight back home. The NBTA National Exhibition officially wrapped up this morning. Our “Big Airports Suck- the wind right out of you” t-shirts were a big hit!
Kim and I had a blast with the Frontier and AirTran sales teams. We also dropped by the STAR Alliance and Sky Team booths to connect with our network carriers. Evan from Continental Airlines even dropped by to say hello. Of course, we spread the CAK gospel to hundreds of corporate travel managers from throughout the United States.
One handy thing I discovered this morning is that the online booking solution called “Get There” will soon offer CAK as a co-terminal to CLE in the Northeast Ohio market. It is free to corporate travel managers, which is totally cool. It’s great for corporate travelers who may not know that there are two excellent airports in the greater Cleveland area.
So, God willing, I’ll be home by 4:00 p.m.
