Attention: Airport Users!

Posted on 04/12/2007 I wanted to give all of you who use our airport and come from the west side of the field a heads-up on a road closure starting Monday, April 16.  Waywood Street will be closed for approximately 30 days at the intersection of Frank Road for widening for the Shuffel Road project.  This means, for all practical purposes, that those coming from Massillon Road should go east on Strausser and then north on Frank, since our sources say that Frank will remain open for this period of time.  At some point though, Frank will also be closed when it's time to tie the intersection together.  Greensburg Road may also be an alternative for those who come from the North, although it is closed west of Massillon Road for a sewer project.  I know we all dislike orange barrels and road closings. But, once this project is done, there should be some happy folks who can avoid the Lauby Road intersection on their way to and from work.  We will try to keep you posted on updates.  Happy trails!
