I am tickled, I mean literally giddy about the promotional partnership we (CAK and AirTran) launched last week. It goes like this: sign up to become a CAK fan on Facebook and you’ll get a $25 voucher for an upcoming AirTran Airways flight from our airport.

The timing couldn’t be better. Typically, September is a really slow month in the airline biz so we wanted to pump things up a bit. The coupon idea came from our friends at KCI. They ran a similar promotion that got excellent results. So, we rang up our partners at AirTran and proposed a similar partnership here at CAK. Thankfully, they agreed to it!

We both help pay for the offer, which is what a partnership is all about. We both benefit too, which is what a great partnership is all about. Here are the results to date:
