About Careers
The airport authority hires for administrative, custodial, field and building maintenance positions though we are not currently hiring. As a special note, participation in the CAK fire department is mandatory for all current and perspective employees in field, building maintenance and custodial departments.
We will gladly accept resumes and hold them for six months. Should an opening occur we will consider all resumes on file.
The airport is similar to a shopping mall with multiple service providers hiring their own employees. That includes all airlines, car rental agencies, our information center, food services and gifts, fixed based operators, and other service providers on the field. If you are interested in applying for a position with an airport service provider, it is your responsibility to contact each one individually. We often advise job hunters to come to the airport with a stack of resumes and distribute them to each ticket or service counter.
