Cool Cleveland flies to CAK for big bash!

We are going to have the best party ever on September 28, 2007. We are teaming up with Cool Cleveland to host a “Pack Your Bags” getaway party at the airport followed by a DeSol concert at the MAPS Air Museum.

We are having the party on a Friday night so we can wisk away a winner and companion to a mystery, ultra-cool city for the weekend.AirTran Airways is serving up the free flights and the airport is picking up the hotel accommodations. How fun is that?

Immediately following the airport bash we’ll truck over to MAPS Air Museum, just a short drive from the airport terminal for a live concert featuring DeSol--- singing all night long for you---wah, wah, wah, whaaaaa. I love that song! Hear it now.

So, you might want to know why we are hosting a Jamfest at CAK? Well, we know that many Cool Cleveland subscribers know about our airport but don’t use it much. We want these folks to see how easy it is to get here and how nice the place is. We hope that after they fall in love with CAK that they will consider booking their next flight from here too. Happy New Years to my neighbors out at Akron/Canton. Continue the tremendous work you do at your airport. Most airports are jealous of how well you have grown in just a 10 year span, and will continue growing in the future. I have flown it 10+ times in the last couple years, and will continue using it.

Right now my coalition of Airport Supporters are trying to help out the struggling Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport. They have done a successful job with flights to Orlando aboard Allegiant Air (ALGT-Nasdaq), but they have not done much since then.

YNG needs to look at how well CAK has done over the years and perhaps take some tips from you guys. You run a very successful operation and should be commended for IT! You earn my award for the best airport in Ohio and the best operation of any government funded operation in the region.
